FeatherPort

BUILD • SHIP • SCALE

We build.
You ship.

FeatherPort is a software company that builds its own products and the engineering rails other businesses ride to build theirs. Bring an idea, or hand us the product you already run.

// WHAT WE DO

Two arms, one engine

One company. We ship our own software, and we are the engineering arm businesses plug in to ship theirs.

01 /

In-house products

We build and ship our own software. The first products are in development now, built on the same rails we hand to everyone else, so they're proven by the time you touch them.

02 /

Rails for businesses

Existing businesses ride our rails to build new technology or to run what they already have. You get an engineering force without standing up one yourself.

// HOW THE RAILS WORK

Two ways to ride

Start something new, or hand over what already runs. The same rails sit underneath both.

01 /

Build from scratch

Bring an idea. We take it from a sketch to a running product: architecture, build, ship, and the operational rails underneath it. You own the outcome. We are the engineering that gets you there.

02 /

Manage & maintain

Hand us the product you already run. We take over the technology and keep it alive, shipping, and scaling, so your team can stop fighting the systems and get back to the business.

// SAME RAILS UNDERNEATH BOTH

// HOW IT GOES

From one email to a running product

No procurement maze. No army of account managers. Four steps, and an engineer on the other end of every one.

  1. 01 /

    You reach out

    One email lands with an engineer, not a form and not a sales queue. Tell us the idea, or point us at the product you already run.

  2. 02 /

    We scope it

    We map what you need, what it touches, and what it takes. You get a clear plan: what we build, how we build it, and what it costs.

  3. 03 /

    We build and ship

    We build on our rails: architecture, code, deploys, and the operational layer underneath. You watch it come together, shipping in increments.

  4. 04 /

    It runs, and keeps running

    Launch is the start, not the finish. We keep it live, scaling, and maintained for as long as you ride with us. The code is always yours.

// THE THESIS

Most teams rebuild the basics. We don't make you.

Every software product runs on the same invisible layer: the systems that move data, money, and work between places. Most teams rebuild that layer badly, under deadline, on the way to the thing they actually care about. We treat it as the main event, build it once, and let you ride it.

// QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

The questions every business asks

How much does it cost?

It depends on what you are building and how much of it we run. After one email we scope the work and give you a clear number before anything starts. No open-ended retainers, and no surprise invoices.

Who owns the code?

You do. Every line we write for you is yours, in your repositories, under your accounts. We build on shared rails, but the product and its code belong to you, during the engagement and after it.

What if we already have developers?

Good. We work alongside them, not over them. We can own a hard part of the system, stand up the rails your team rides, or take maintenance off their plate so they can focus on the product. You decide where we plug in.

What happens after launch?

Launch is the start. We keep the product live, monitored, and scaling for as long as you want us on it. If you would rather take it fully in-house later, we hand it over cleanly, because it was always yours to begin with.

How long does it take?

First contact gets a reply in days, not weeks. From there, timelines depend on scope, and we ship in increments so you see working software early instead of waiting for one big reveal at the end.

What stack do you use?

We pick the stack that fits the problem and that your team can live with long term, not the one that is trendy this quarter. Modern, well supported, and boring where boring is the right call. We tell you the choices and why we made them.

Build with us

Bring us an idea, or hand over the product you already run. One email reaches an engineer, and the code is yours from the first line.
